How to use it

  1. 1 Pick the odds format and enter the odds for each leg. Add or remove legs as needed (2 to 15).
  2. 2 Enter your stake.
  3. 3 Read the combined odds, total payout, profit and implied probability. Blank legs are ignored.

How a parlay payout is calculated

A parlay combines several bets into one, and every leg must win. The payout is found by multiplying the decimal odds of each leg together, then multiplying by the stake. Because you win only if all legs win, parlays pay a lot more than single bets, and they lose far more often.

If one leg loses the whole parlay loses. If a leg pushes, most sportsbooks drop it and price the parlay on the remaining legs. This calculator assumes every leg wins or loses.

The implied probability of a parlay

The implied probability shown is one divided by the combined decimal odds. It is the win rate the parlay price needs to break even. The vig is built into every leg's price, so a parlay of several normal-priced legs carries more total vig than a single bet.

The calculator only knows the odds you enter. It cannot tell you how likely the legs actually are to win.

Worked example

Three legs at -110, +150 and -120 have decimal odds of 1.909, 2.500 and 1.833. Multiplied together the combined decimal odds are 8.75, which is +775 in American odds.

A $10 stake returns $87.50 in total, a profit of $77.50. The implied probability is 11.43%.

The formula

Combined decimal odds = leg 1 x leg 2 x ... x leg N Total payout = stake x combined decimal odds Profit = payout - stake Implied probability = 1 / combined decimal odds

Frequently asked questions

Convert each leg to decimal odds and multiply them. A -110 leg is 1.909 and a +150 leg is 2.50, so together they are 4.773, or about +377.
This calculator takes 2 to 15 legs. The limit at your sportsbook may be lower or higher, and some books cap the payout.
Because every leg has to win, the chance of cashing drops with each leg you add. The payout rises to match, but the vig on each leg also compounds across legs.
At most sportsbooks the pushed leg is removed and the parlay pays at the odds of the remaining legs. Rules differ, so check yours.
A leg left empty is ignored. A leg with unreadable odds is flagged instead, so a typo cannot silently change your payout.
